Connor is shocked to find out that his rugby idol is in Ward 17 with stab wounds inflicted by his girlfriend. Thrilled at the chance to care for him, Connor's admiration quickly fades as he discovers the circumstances behind the incident. Meanwhile, Peter stays by his wife's side in the ICU, holding onto hope for her recovery. In another part of the hospital, two women with very different reasons for being there end up sharing a room. Additionally, Jared mends his relationship with his former fiancée, Amanda.
