Episode Overview

Luke finds himself drawn to a visiting surgical consultant, despite her notorious reputation. When he's initially presented with a prestigious job offer at another hospital, his relationship with the consultant takes a turn when she shifts blame for a patient’s misdiagnosis away from herself. Meanwhile, Jared disregards his gut feelings and follows an intern's misguided instructions, leading to a treatment error that results in a formal complaint against him. On his first day with Rapid Response, Ben faces a gang member brandishing a knife while attending to a stabbing victim. Later, the victim threatens Ben, warning him that his involvement has put him in danger. Additionally, Stephanie encounters a violent patient, and Jared's birthday surprise for Terri doesn’t quite hit the mark.
