Emily Watson and her brother Robbie are both in the hospital for a kidney transplant, with Emily as the donor. Robbie has struggled with reflux nephropathy since he was thirteen and has been reliant on dialysis throughout his teenage years. Assigned to their case, Steph and Connor admire Emily's bravery and selflessness, but she insists that Robbie is the one who deserves sympathy.
