Mitch and Luke find themselves at odds when they disagree on the best course of treatment for a young girl suffering from a brain aneurysm, pushing professional boundaries to their limits. Meanwhile, Bron has a startling revelation about her own life as she cares for a man who has attempted suicide. When Steph learns that Ben has been visiting a sperm bank, she initially believes he's overly fixated on fatherhood, but assisting with a birth helps her grasp his urgency. Additionally, Von is left bewildered by the strange actions of one of her patients, while Jared confronts Bron, accusing her of misappropriating their rent money.
