Episode Overview

With the tragic influence of Dark Digivolution, Guilmon transforms into Megidramon. In an intense showdown, Megidramon nearly finishes off Beelzemon by devouring him, but Makuramon intervenes, criticizing Beelzemon's ineffective evolution. In a shocking twist, Beelzemon kills Makuramon and manages to escape. He strikes Megidramon in his vulnerable spot, the chest, leading to Megidramon's defeat. As he reverts back to Guilmon, Takato is engulfed in grief and reaffirms his bond with his Digimon. After wishing for the strength to fight, Takato and Guilmon merge to become Gallantmon.
