Digimon Tamers (2001)

Episode Overview

Following the De-Digivolution of MegaGargomon, the tamers learn that Zhuqiaomon is still alive and eager for battle. He tries to persuade Lopmon to join him, but when Lopmon firmly declines, Zhuqiaomon attacks the tamers. Taomon steps in to shield them, but the confrontation escalates until another Sovereign, Azulongmon, intervenes. A fierce battle ensues, with Guilmon and Terriermon joining the fray, though their efforts prove ineffective and they face dire consequences. In a bold move, Takato leaps from Taomon's protection, and he and Guilmon Digivolve into Gallantmon. Azulongmon allows the clash to continue briefly to illustrate the strength of Bio-Merged warriors, but eventually halts the fight, urging Zhuqiaomon to recognize the futility of their conflict and unite against their true adversary, the D-Reaper.
