Grani has reached full maturity, while Calumon attempts to rouse Jeri from her slumber. Meanwhile, Beelzemon, unleashed by the D-Reaper, unsuccessfully tries to break the kernel sphere encasing Jeri. Gallantmon arrives and, utilizing Grani's Yugooth Blaster, successfully destroys the Agent that protects it. Kazu and Kenta find themselves in grave danger but are rescued by Antylamon. As the battle unfolds, the adults uncover the reality of Bio-Merging, leaving them stunned. The scene of the kids within the Digimon is broadcast live, prompting Ms. Asaji to rally Takato's class in support. Ultimately, Beelzemon breaks through to Jeri using Leomon's Fist of the Beast King, aided by Leomon's spirit. Jeri awakens but feels disheartened to see Beelzemon rather than Leomon.
