Episode Overview
Rika feels let down by both her mother and Renamon for their inability to digivolve during their battle with Allomon, especially since they relied on Guilmon and Terriermon for assistance. In frustration, Renamon sets out alone and encounters Impmon, who insists that she doesn’t need a human to grow stronger. However, when a Dokugumon attacks and injures Renamon, Rika rushes to help her. In a moment of care, Renamon digivolves into Kyubimon and effortlessly takes down Dokugumon with a single strike. Kyubimon reveals that Rika’s support was what triggered her transformation.
