Episode Overview

Becca decides to enter a Miss Teen contest, only to learn that her roommate is Rona Lieberman. With scholarship money on the line, Becca gets a closer look at Rona's life, especially when Rona's mother arrives at the pageant intoxicated, embarrassing her during a piano recital. Meanwhile, Drew is irritated by the loud music from their new neighbors, whose son is in a band. Corky auditions for the chorus but doesn't get in due to his singing skills. However, the neighbor boy gifts Corky an old drum set, and it turns out Corky has a knack for playing. Eventually, Drew and the neighbors find common ground.
