Episode Overview

In the series finale, the story jumps ahead four years to witness Becca and Jesse's wedding and then fast-forwards another decade, with a 27-year-old Becca (still portrayed by Kellie Martin) sharing a tale with her son about life after high school. Corky, who doesn't graduate, confidently proclaims, "I'll be back." Ray has become the valedictorian of Becca's class. After leaving for Europe and breaking Becca's heart, Jesse makes a return four years later. It's left ambiguous whether Jesse is the father of Becca's son, but she expresses her wish to have a child with him, hopeful about new medical advancements. The series closes with Becca's heartfelt declaration: "I love you, Jesse."
