S02E08 Like Father, Like Son
Episode Overview
Bold has ventured away from White Deer Park, relishing his newfound freedom. His journey leads him to Crow and then to a kind female Badger named Shadow, whom he accidentally stumbles upon in her den. To win her friendship, he catches a pheasant, and she warns him about the gamekeeper, shedding light on the plentiful pheasants and the absence of foxes. When Shadow gets trapped in a snare intended for Bold, he stays behind to help her. As he gnaws at the wire to free her, it snaps back, freeing her but injuring his eye. Later, while hunting for pheasants, Bold's impaired vision causes him to overlook the farmer, resulting in a tragic shooting. Meanwhile, back in White Deer Park, Charmer, the last female cub of Fox and Vixen, forms a bond with Ranger, Scarface’s son. Following Scarface’s brutal act against Mrs. Hare, Mr. Hare relocates his family to Farthing land.
