Episode Overview

In the late 18th century Haiti, two graduate students investigating the Haitian Cross of Utu mysteriously vanish in New Orleans. Sydney and Nigel venture into the bayou to track them down. As they follow the students' clues, they stumble upon unsettling truths about voodoo and a contemporary Utu cult determined to protect its valuable black pearl talisman, which possesses extraordinary powers, from being discovered.
