Episode Overview
In the royal palace of Madrid in 1808, Nigel is flirting with the attractive student Lorraine, who has a passion for relic hunting, when Sydney is suddenly attacked by a thief who knocks her out and steals her wallet along with her crossbow. Determined to recover the crown jewels of Charles IV, they travel to Madrid, only to discover that the professor they were supposed to meet has been murdered with Sydney's crossbow. Framed for the crime, they realize they’ve been duped by Lorraine, who is actually Rayna, and her accomplice Raoul. Raoul, unbeknownst to Rayna, killed the professor and is now after the jewels. After narrowly escaping the police, Sydney and Nigel confront Rayna and Raoul, but Raoul takes Nigel hostage to force him to the jewels, leaving Rayna and Sydney handcuffed together.
