Episode Overview

In 1401 A.D. in Bekkastan, a horse rider confidently claims her place as the clan's leader while perched on an extraordinary saddle. Fast forward to the present, Sydney and Nigel discover a mural depicting the rider. Just as they begin to examine it, a commotion outside catches Syd's attention, and she rushes out to find someone making off with their horses. She manages to grab one and chases after the thief, leaving Nigel behind with only his camera, laptop, and scarce water. Syd catches up but gets knocked out during the scuffle. After a tense wait for her, Nigel calls Karen and sets off on foot. Meanwhile, Syd befriends the thief, who reveals he’s the twin brother of a tribe's leader. As Nigel collapses in the desert, he's rescued by the sister who enlists his aid to locate the saddle and prove her leadership claim.
