Episode Overview

Bobbi Glass is in a bind as her wealthy uncle Tipton visits, forcing her to confront the web of lies she’s spun about having a child. Desperate to maintain her facade, she bribes Nicole to pose as her daughter. Meanwhile, Carmen is dealing with her own turmoil after running away from home due to family issues, including her father's departure and visible bruises. Staying with Sam and Jane, she’s persuaded to reach out to her mother, who no longer wants her back. Considering independence, Carmen thinks about finding her own place. To help her friend, Lily crashes Bobbi’s family lunch, pretending to be Bobbi’s second daughter, which derails Bobbi’s plans for financial gain. In another subplot, Bonnie, the new SAT teacher, befriends Brooke and they share a lunch that leads to Bonnie getting drunk. Brooke attempts to drive her home, but mistakenly takes the wrong car, landing them in serious trouble. Jane and Sam end up bailing Bonnie out of jail
