Phyllis brings in a new maid for Samantha and Darrin, selecting a kind-hearted woman named Amelia. However, the couple soon realizes they must dismiss her due to the magical mishaps stemming from Samantha's witch lineage. Meanwhile, Phyllis's friend, Mrs. Otis, sees potential in Amelia and opts to employ her instead.
