Samantha and Darrin find themselves closely monitored by Hepzibah, who is skeptical about the harmony between a witch and a mortal. When Hepzibah encounters one of Darrin's clients, Ernest Hitchcock, Samantha’s magic helps him develop feelings for the Priestess. This unexpected romance leads Hepzibah to reconsider her stance on witch-mortal unions. Ultimately, she invites Samantha and Darrin on a trip to Salem, suggesting that perhaps their unconventional marriage is more acceptable than she initially believed.
