As Kris recuperates from her fractured arm, she is determined to secure a spot riding Wildfire in an upcoming race. To manage the discomfort of riding with her injury, Tina provides Kris with prescription painkillers. Meanwhile, Matt invites Tina to be his date for a party, while Dani has a meeting with a woman she believes could be her mother.
