Overview
Friends and family nominate individuals they believe are in serious need of a style overhaul. Fashion experts Stacy London and her co-host surprise the chosen candidate with a generous $5,000 budget to revamp their wardrobe. Over a whirlwind two-day shopping spree in New York City boutiques, they must navigate fashion advice and tough critiques from Stacy and her partner, who often recommend tossing out much of the candidate's current clothing. The show combines transformation and tough love, helping participants rediscover their personal style.
