Wade encounters the man she’s always envisioned, Derek Bond, on a planet where ten percent of its inhabitants have psychic powers. To her surprise, Derek is one of them and is set to become the next Prime Oracle. However, trouble arises when Rembrandt and Arturo find themselves implicated in a murder that is yet to occur, plunging them into a tangled web of intrigue and uncertainty.
