When Maddie collapses, Ally learns that her daughter is experiencing a nervous breakdown due to the upheavals in her life. Determined to support Maddie, Ally resolves to return to New York. This decision surprises everyone at the firm, but Richard is focused on his upcoming wedding to Liza, hoping Ally will be there for the big day. As Ally prepares to leave the town, she receives visits from Renee and Georgia, followed by a ghostly encounter with Billy.
