Under the influence of morphine, Todd confuses a tiny teddy bear for Hudson, Alice's ex-boyfriend, whom he believes is attempting to rekindle their relationship. Eager to reach La Molecule ahead of Hudson, Todd snatches a test tube filled with toxic spores. Meanwhile, Brent Wilts collaborates with Doug Whitney, Todd's old boss from Portland, Oregon, as they set out to locate the sinister entity known as "Mountford."
