At the dinner, Jerry makes a comment about kids with ponies that inadvertently upsets the guest of honor. Shortly after, she passes away, leaving Jerry torn between attending her funeral and playing in his championship softball game. Meanwhile, Elaine learns that the widower plans to relocate to Arizona, prompting her to question the future of the apartment. George is left contemplating whether he’ll ever have sex again.
