Episode Overview
After a crushing loss to German troops at Kasserine Pass, where General Lloyd Fredendall leads the American forces, Eisenhower steps in and assigns Patton to take command. Known for his fierce determination, "Old Blood and Guts" quickly transforms the unprepared soldiers, guiding them to triumph at the Battle of El Guettar. With Axis forces on the run, Patton and the Allies drive them out of North Africa, ultimately celebrating their victory by May 1943.
