Cindy Peterson, a mother turned stripper to make ends meet, vanishes after her shift, prompting Jack to send Elena undercover at the strip club to dig for information. As Elena's cover is nearly blown, Danny steps in to watch over her. Meanwhile, Vivian uncovers that Jim Peterson has been less than truthful with the team. Tensions rise for Jack as he faces criticism from Olczyk regarding his relationship with Ann, and he grows frustrated with Ann after she confesses that she believes he allowed their romance to affect his judgment in the Davis case.
