Eager to embrace her independence, Kim decides to move into an apartment with Stevie. However, Nikki and Stevie’s mother, Sophia Van Lowe, struggle to accept this change. When Kim and Stevie host a housewarming celebration, Nikki and Sophia, feeling slighted by not receiving an invitation, show up unannounced. Meanwhile, T. develops feelings for Rachel, the apartment manager, only to discover that she has a past as a man.
