In need of funds for their college tuition, Kim and Nikki join a psychic hotline and quickly become top performers. However, their excitement over easy money diminishes when they encounter a frequent caller and witness the true impact the hotline has had on her life. Simultaneously, Nikki attempts to impress Professor Oglevee by volunteering to care for his pet, oblivious to the dog's unusual medical issue.
