Episode Overview
The Penguin orchestrates a heist at the Gotham City Library, stealing a valuable folio featuring renowned parasols. His scheme involves using the $10,000 ransom to gamble on a manipulated horse race. With the help of his accomplice, Lola Lasagne, he disguises the top contender, Parasol, as the obscure "Bumbershoot," while a horse from a glue factory masquerades as "Parasol." As the bets pour in on the decoy, it seems the Penguin is poised for a windfall when the real Parasol crosses the finish line. However, he is blindsided by Bruce Wayne's unexpected entry, Waynebow, with Batgirl in the saddle.
