While Gin and Hijikata drown their sorrows in drinks, Nobunobu and the Mimawarigumi burst in. Unsatisfied with having defeated Shigeshige and the Shinsengumi, Nobunobu seeks to provoke Hijikata. Just as tensions rise, an unforeseen ally makes a timely entrance.
