Carol tries to take a step back in her budding romance with Helen. At the same time, Sean persuades Matt to read the script for their upcoming show, despite Beverly's disapproval. However, things take an unexpected twist when an enthusiastic Matt expresses his desire to take on one of the roles, leaving Sean and Beverly less than pleased with the idea.
