Matt's game show "The Box" has become a massive success, but this newfound fame comes with the downside of constant interaction with his producer, Merc Lapidus. At the same time, Sean and Beverly find themselves stuck working under Sean's detestable former partner, Tim, after Helen appoints him to oversee their new project. Meanwhile, Carol struggles to cope as she faces a downward spiral, having been unable to secure another job.
