Episode Overview

Penny unexpectedly travels back to February 1955, where she discovers the significance of black history, a topic she previously dismissed as dull. In this earlier time, she witnesses how black students are pushed to the back of the classroom, and there’s a complete absence of lessons on their history. Additionally, she learns that her friendship with Zoey, who is white, is not accepted in this era.
