Episode Overview
The Claymore team arrives in the mountains, only to be taken aback by the presence of a Male Awakened One. Meanwhile, another Claymore and her handler observe the fight from afar, seemingly concocting their own scheme. As the battle intensifies, nearly everyone except for "Phantom Miria" is left severely injured. This might be what the Awakened refers to as "true despair," but Claire, having experienced real despair herself, recognizes that this isn't it.
