Molly sets off to rediscover her lost inspiration at an Oregon inn where she and her late husband, Rick, once shared their love of music. Meanwhile, Jack feels adrift without a passion like music to guide him. At the inn's restaurant, Annie encounters a bold young man named Quinn, who claims to be Molly's muse sent to assist her. He demonstrates his abilities on a waitress and a dog, but when he meets Molly, his magic doesn't work. Feeling disheartened, Molly considers skipping her performance. Carey finds the dog Quinn had made dance earlier, but now it just sits sadly. Quinn reveals it's his first time as a muse. Jack speaks with a peculiar handyman working in their room, who advises him to tune in to his muse. Ultimately, Molly decides to go on with the show. As they leave, she mentions the handyman to the owner, who insists they have no such employee. During the concert, both Molly and Jack experience a profound revelation.
