Episode Overview

Kogami and Makishima engage in a fierce battle, and Kogami lands a solid blow. However, their confrontation is interrupted when Akane arrives. Instead of apprehending Kogami, she hands over the modified Dominator, allowing them both to chase after Makishima. As he tries to flee in a truck, Akane manages to climb aboard and punctures a tire, resulting in a crash. With Akane injured and unable to continue, Kogami grabs a reloaded revolver and goes after Makishima. Cornered, Makishima waits for Kogami to shoot him, while Akane is powerless to intervene. Later, the Sybil System informs Akane of its plans to reveal itself to the public when the time is right, but she warns that humanity will eventually resist it.
