Episode Overview

Hospital leaders enlist Dana for a high-stakes operation aimed at saving the life of an unborn baby. Meanwhile, Lu tends to a female inmate battling cervical cancer and resolves to challenge the prison system's approach to women's health care. As Dana grapples with the emotional aftermath of her pregnancy loss, she finds herself in distress. Lu, on the other hand, attempts to dissuade a patient from undergoing a costly screening that the clinic won't cover, aiming to protect the patient’s finances. Additionally, Lu grows concerned that an elderly patient may be hoarding enough medication for a potential suicide attempt.
