Lu and Andy care for three patients presenting similar ailments, yet their backgrounds are completely dissimilar. Concurrently, Andy is forced to confront the man responsible for Milo's death in a drunk driving incident. To his dismay, Jesse forms a connection with this individual after he speaks at her school about the perils of impaired driving. In another storyline, Jonas faces scrutiny for potential insider trading. The episode takes a dramatic turn when Jesse becomes involved in a drunk driving crash herself.
