Episode Overview

The Defenders are called to the Himalayas by Theron, Mandrake's former mentor, when ancient god statues inexplicably animate. They discover that Ming and a sorcerer are orchestrating the chaos, aiming to seize a sacred dorje that would grant Ming ultimate dominion over the world. As Ming claims the dorje, Mandrake warns him of the sorcerer's treachery, but Ming disregards the advice. The sorcerer seizes the dorje from Ming and transforms into Shiva, the god of destruction, who had been exiled from his realm long ago. Declaring the onset of chaos, Shiva vanishes into his dimension, leaving Ming to cowardly escape while the Defenders confront the escalating threat.
