In her quest to finally take down the Mikaelson brothers, Aurora devises a plan to use Freya as bait, drawing Klaus and Elijah into a perilous trap. At the same time, Davina, having been enlisted by a formidable coven of witches from The Strix, seeks to perform a spell that could protect her dearest friends. To do this, she manages to summon Kol, who might hold the secret ingredient necessary for the spell. Meanwhile, Hayley faces an emotional dilemma that leads her to make a devastating sacrifice.
