After a brutal scheme has left their family in disarray, Klaus, Elijah, and Freya are on a desperate quest to eliminate Lucien for good. However, their mission is abruptly interrupted by a distress signal from Kol and Marcel. At Klaus' urging, Freya and Elijah agree to remain behind to assist, while Klaus and Hayley venture into the bayou after learning of Lucien's latest plot.
