After having his memory wiped by Marcel, Elijah finds himself disoriented and alone in an unfamiliar place, with no recollection of his identity. Struggling to manage his vampire instincts, he meets Antoinette, an alluring and carefree vampire who guides him as he tries to adjust to his new existence. Just as he begins to settle into this unexpected reality, a confrontation with Klaus looms, putting the fragile tranquility he has just discovered at risk.
