Episode Overview

Title: Woody's Political Adventure Plot: When City Councilman Kevin Fogarty visits Cheers to campaign for re-election, his empty promises charm the patrons. In a playful wager, Frasier claims he can get a trained monkey on the ballot and secure 10% of the vote. Lacking a monkey, he decides to promote Woody instead. With Frasier's help, Woody's name makes it onto the ballot. A local journalist, Holly Matheson, misinterprets Woody’s rural anecdotes as insightful commentary on city politics, boosting his popularity. Initially, Woody captures 8% of the vote in early polling, leading the gang to reluctantly admit defeat to Frasier.
