After sustaining damage from the Romulan minefield, Archer decides to send out a distress signal, knowing they can't fix the Enterprise alone. They receive a response that directs them to a repair station, only to find it eerily deserted and managed entirely by a computer system. While the repairs on the Enterprise are completed swiftly and effectively, the cost for these services turns out to be far steeper than the crew anticipated.
