Episode Overview

Michael reaches the bleak border between Niger and Algeria, navigating through the harsh terrain. Heading north, he traverses the rugged Hoggar mountains and stops in Algeria's central oil and gas regions. His journey continues into Libya, where he takes part in the final gathering of the Desert Rats of Tobruk. He then journeys westward along the North Coast, passing by the abandoned ancient ruins of Apollonia, Cyrene, and Leptis Magna, each site steeped in history and solitude.
