Episode Overview

An ex-con is thrown into a frenzy when the loan shark he owes is murdered at his gas station. In a moment of desperation, he throws his gun onto a truck that drives by, unsure if the police will believe his version of events. Meanwhile, the optimistic young Detective Adam Flint is convinced he's pursuing justice for a man trying to turn his life around, but the rest of the department views his mission as a futile chase after an illusion.
