Episode Overview

Title: Sea Ghost Plot: Gus Pike is diligently balancing school and various jobs in town when the enigmatic lighthouse keeper, Captain Ezekiel Crane, extends an offer for employment and accommodation. Meanwhile, Rachel Lynde suspects that the island is being infiltrated by bootleggers. The local children are convinced they've spotted a Ghost Ship near the lighthouse. Suddenly, Abe Pike, the former first mate of Captain Crane and recently escaped from prison, arrives in Avonlea, declaring Gus as his son. A confrontation ensues between Abe and Ezekiel, leading to Abe falling into the sea as townsfolk rush the lighthouse in search of bootleggers.
