Episode Overview
In Avonlea, Jo Pitts is causing chaos, leading Hetty to think that "Sara" has lost her mind. Frustrated with Hetty, Jo plots to drown her. Meanwhile, Sara and Gus narrowly escape a group of thieves led by Abe Pike and rush back to Avonlea just in time to prevent Jo from plundering the town. Gus gives the King women some tips on dealing with Jo, suggesting she could stay with Sara and Hetty at Rose Cottage. Ultimately, Jo chooses to take control of her life and decides to leave town instead.
