Dr. Pol and his son embark on a quest to uncover the cause of a troubling mystery when ten Angus steers unexpectedly become lame and can’t stand. Meanwhile, at the clinic, a grieving widow is desperate to save her deceased husband’s dog, which has swallowed a rock, and she’s prepared to spare no expense. As the summer heat intensifies, Dr. Pol is also busy gearing up for a family reunion. With extra guests around, the clinic feels crowded, but the additional help proves to be a welcome relief.
