As June's birthday approaches, Wally and Beaver find themselves arguing over how to spend the five dollars their dad, Ward, gave them. Wally decides to purchase a wallet for her, while Beaver chooses to buy a rather unattractive blouse. Although June graciously thanks Beaver for his gift, she struggles to find the courage to actually wear it.
