Episode Overview

Cissy struggles to secure a date for the Sadie Hawkins dance and approaches a boy, only to learn he can't go due to a broken leg. Assuming he’s making excuses, she feels downhearted. Bill proposes that his actor friend, who is in town, could accompany her, but she declines the offer. Later, Cissy discovers that Virgil genuinely has a broken leg, and she feels relieved and pleased to realize he was telling the truth after all.
